I thoroughly enjoyed this event, as I don't get out too often to do any deep sky observing, it was a treat to find a lot of objects I hadn't yet observed with my 4" apo. Armed with an OIII filter and a new 7mm Nagler I was able to see a great many globulars, planetaries and most of my favorites such as the Veil and the crescent nebula. Not to mention hunting down Uranus and Neptune and piling on the magnification.
The event was well organized and the camping was great if rudimentary. I greatly enjoyed the socialization with some I hadn't seen for a long while as well as talking to a few beginners, I look forward to next year's party. Kudos to Warren Finlay for organizing a fun event with interesting speakers and the unique method of summoning participants to the sessions.

Alister Ling speaking on how to use the Clear Sky Clock, Dr. Jaymie Matthews (sitting left) spoke on Canada's MOST satellite and it's accomplishments.

I got to examine my scope's big brother, the NP127 all the way from the Yukon.

Waiting for dark skies which were forthcoming and I personally had two very good nights.
